According to my experience, most new users will have deployment

issue. Please check the online document for deployment issues if required:

http://www.imfirewall.us/support/WFilter_4_1/Doc/deployment_example.htm

If it's not helpful, please describe me your network topology,

together with switch/router models. So I can work out a solution for you.

Your router can not support pass-by deployment.

To deploy WFilter, you need to setup your pc as the gateway, and make your wifi works in AP mode.

Please check: http://www.imfirewall.us/support/WFilter_4_1/Doc/deploy_wireless_gateway.htm

Got the 2nd card, what i understand so far is this.

Connect cable modem direct to main pc.

then connect one of the cards to router

here's where i'm stuck cannot enter router interface

yes, it's "modem <-> pc <-> (wan port)router".

Because your pc is in the wan side of your router, you can not access router's web UI. You can use a wireless device to access your router.
